Dots on the Map is a means by which to shed light on historic, small communities. This blog will feature specific towns, buildings/homes, and people. Additionally, I will provide help and info on the National Register of Historic Places for those interested. Comments and suggestions for featured places/people are always welcome.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation has released its annual 11 most endangered historic sites. These are always interesting to explore, and some do not have buildings on them.
